Strategically located in near proximity to the shopping meccas of Bond Street, Oxford Street and Marylebone Village, The Mandeville Hotel (a Preferred Hotel) is now seeking talents to join our Kitchen/Food and Beverage team as Chef de Partie for Reform Social and Grill.
Reform Social and Grill brings an authentic British experience to Marylebone and The Mandeville Hotel. Taking inspiration from regular British gentlemen’s clubs, it serves breakfast to London’s best afternoon tea to a classic Great British Brunch, and of course dinner. It also boasts an impressive Bar.
The successful candidate would be required to-
*To have an absolute passion for British cuisine.
*To co-ordinate all team members.
*To handle their section and to work closely with the Sous chef/ Head Chef on all day to day matters.
*To ensure that all information relating to bookings and movement is communicated and understood by all team members.
*To check function sheets daily and communicate any movements to the team.
*To observe and test foods being served.
*To ensure the proper handling of all food items in accordance with health and hygiene procedures.
*To report anything that may be considered a health or hygiene hazard.
*To participate in training programs.
*To consider the availability of all raw food items and order items accordingly.
*To participate in receiving and checking incoming goods.
Applicants should hold a HND in catering (or similar) or have a 3-4 years of relevant experience at NVQ level 3.You would receive competitive salary and company(including Perkbox and Tastecard) benefits.
