We are looking for an experienced positive, passionate and career driven Chef De Partie on full time basis who will share their genuine love for food and work in our restaurant in South Kensington.

Who You Need To Be
As a chef, you will play a vital role in maximising customer experience. You will have a passion and talent for making and serving food. You’ll have such a strong desire for detail and will commit to delivering all foods with creativity and consistency. You will work well in a team, and skilfully coordinate with other chefs and kitchen hands to help provide customers with the best food experience.
Our hot and cold brunch menu is varied, from short-order favourites such as best poached eggs to our home-made savoury tarts served with creative daily salads, to daily hearty soups. All made fresh, in-house and from quality ingredients. Our core menu focuses on Australian fayre and our weekend specials regularly feature what's in season. Our focus is fresh, seasonal salads, artisanal sandwiches and a wholesome mix of healthy treats and delectable cakes.
You'll need to be able to prepare food quickly and to menu specification, also being able to cope with fast past service of hot dishes during our busy morning and lunch time shifts. You will need to be confident when following recipes and understanding how to put ingredients together.
The ideal Chef De Partie candidates will have the following qualities –
A passionate and natural leader
Works well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ambitious, creative and determined to exceed expectations
Have knowledge of UK food safety regulations and HACCP techniques
Duties involved -
Oversee the daily operation of a kitchen which operates 7 days a week (rotating roster)
Great knowledge of kitchen operations, safe food handling and safety in a kitchen environment
Ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet health specifications and commitment to quality
Managing the food display and stock
Knowledge of dealing with suppliers, ordering and stock control
Manage food costing and meet budget requirements.
Commitment to quality service and food knowledge
Work well in conjunction with the general manager
