Chef De Partie Wanted in London

This role would suit someone who has held a similar position for a year, preferably in a pub or gastropub environment. You will be part of a small team reporting to the Head Chef or Sous Chef. Your role will be maintaining the efficiency of the kitchen during high volume times by preparing plates and elements of dishes. At times you may also be responsible for a whole section of the menu, such as salads, desserts or the grill. During preparation periods you will need to efficiently assist in preparing ingredients both under instruction and also using initiative to make best use of time. Full knowledge of Health and Safety and good cleaning practices will be required, with a basic Food Safety Hygiene certificate preferred but this could be obtained on the job.
