Chef de Partie and Fishmonger Dual Role – IMMEDIATE START
We have a full time position that has opened up within our very hard working team. This is ideal for a chef who is passionate about fish and would like the opportunity to work in our fishmongers for 75% of their working week.
The rest of your time would be spent back of house running your own section in the kitchen. As your role grows you would help to train up our new front of house recruits and junior chefs on their fish knowledge – this really is a great opportunity to widen your career aspirations.
Our restaurant is award winning and based in the heart of Piccadilly, London. We are proud of what we do best – sourcing, preparing and serving the freshest and best seafood in town. We believe the secret to perfect seafood is cooking it simply and seasonally. That’s why we are looking for someone who understands quality and is able to deliver to specification.
Key responsibilities:
·Confidently prepare, skin, fillet and de-bone different varieties of fish and crustacea
·Ensure products are served to Company Specifications
·Ability to assist customers with making purchasing decisions
·Effective communication with colleagues to ensure smooth running of service
You must be:
·Confident, Personable and a great communicator
·Able to understand the needs of a diverse range of customers
·Energetic and enthusiastic and able to think on your feet
·Extremely well presented
