Our client is a Modern 5* London Hotel which requires a Chef de Partie with the talent and ability to join its team of highly experienced chefs. The salary which is being offered for the successful candidate up to £25,000 to £26,000 for 7 shifts, with any overtime paid per shift. This Hotel has high standards in every department and a highly reliable Chef de Partie is essential to the Food and Beverage department. The vacancy is within the a la Carte restaurant of the hotel so experience in service is important and the ability to work on all sections will be preferred.
As a Chef de Partie you will take ownership of your section’s mise-en-place in terms of quantity and quality and deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef. You will also ensure that food is cooked and presented as outlined in the outlet specification manual and as per the standards of this leading London Hotel. This role of Chef de Partie will give you an opportunity to take ownership in presenting new ideas for menus, presentations and working practices to your section’s Sous Chef.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Preferably a background in 5* Hotels.
• A passion for working and cooking with the finest fresh ingredients.
• A desire to progress in a career in a leading 5* Hotel.
• Confidence when working under pressure.
• Good communications skills and a good level of spoken.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
