Chef de Partie
Addington Palace Golf Club is a member’s golf club on the outskirts of Croydon. The bars and restaurant are located in a picturesque courtyard setting overlooking our stunning golf course. We have a thriving trade from members and visiting golfers and a busy function and events calendar.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the team as a Chef de Partie.
As a Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Chef ensuring the efficient and effective running of the kitchen. You will ensure that the preparation and presentation of food is of a high standard and complies with food safety regulations.
You must be passionate about food, hardworking and dedicated to a career as a professional Chef. You must be energetic, creative and confident in your ability. You must be self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Under the direction of the Head Chef, Sous Chef, preparing and producing food as directed using modern methods, equipment, and fresh food.
Ensuring that the kitchen operates effectively on a daily basis.
Maintain sufficient stock levels of all food items and communicate with floor staff regarding the availability of menu items throughout service.
Ensuring that all food cooked and served is of a high quality.
Ensuring stock is rotated and deliveries are checked and stored correctly.
Awareness of departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a similar quality kitchen.
Sound awareness and skill within all culinary functions.
A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail.
The ability to work well under pressure.
A strong customer service focus with the motivation to consistently drive high service levels.
Sound awareness of health and safety, food hygiene, COSH and HACCP legislation.
