We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie with a passion for learning new techniques - smoking and butchery in particular. You will become part of an ambitious team cooking food like no other restaurant in the UK. We are an award winning and critically acclaimed restaurant specialising in “Fred Flintstone Fine Dining”.
We smoke and grill over naked flames using coal and English oak. Working closely with the best farmers in the UK we receive whole carcasses and butcher our meat on site. In a typical week we will butcher half a cow and smoke whole shortribs, pork bellys and lamb shoulders amongst others.
All our head chefs have been promoted from within and we believe training our junior chefs to become sous chefs and then head chefs is the key to our future.
Our requirements for Chef de Partie:
- At least two years in a similar role
- Ambitious and talented
- A real passion for the industry
- An eye for detail
- Willingness to learn new techniques
- High standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
- The ability to come to work with a smile and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a very good command of English.
