We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie with a passion for learning new techniques - smoking and butchery in particular. You will become part of an ambitious team cooking food like no other restaurant in the UK. We are an award winning and critically acclaimed restaurant specialising in “Fred Flintstone Fine Dining”.
We smoke and grill over naked flames using coal and English oak. Working closely with the best farmers in the UK we receive whole carcasses and butcher our meat on site. In a typical week we will butcher half a cow and smoke whole shortribs, pork bellys and lamb shoulders amongst others.
We understand not many people can cook the way we do. So when working for us you will be taught, coached and guided to prepare outstanding meals using our ‘Ole Hickory’ smoker and Robata Grill.
All our head chefs have been promoted from within and we believe training our junior chefs to become sous chefs and then head chefs is the key to our future.

You will:
Speak fluent English
Have at least two years experience in a similar role
You are passionate about great food
You have an interest in Meat and Butchery
An eye for detail
Willingness to learn new techniques
High standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
The ability to come to work with a smile and ‘can do’ attitude
