Chef de Partie, The Havelock Tavern. Full Time (49 hours/Week)
A fantastic opportunity for a junior chef to join our small team. By working closely with our suppliers, we change our menu daily so there's always plenty of opportunity to experience new techniques and dishes.
Whilst previous Gastro Pub experience is preferable, what is most important is that you are passionate about good food, hard-working and have a good palate. It’s only a small team of chefs (two/three people working at a time) so team work and flexibility are essential. This, in turn, will give the successful candidate a broad insight into all aspects of working in a modern kitchen.
The Havelock Tavern is one of the original Gastro Pubs. Over the past few decades, we have built and maintained an incredible reputation for great food in a relaxed setting; something we are always looking to develop and advance.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent written and spoken English
- English bank account in your own name
- NI number and relevant work visa’s/passport
- A 6 month commitment minimum
- Honesty, punctuality, great communication skills and a can do attitude
- An outgoing personality and fun sense of humour, with a willingness learn and succeed.
- Ability to perform to a consistently high standard with exceptional customer service skills.
