Chef de Partie at rhubarb Royal Albert Hall - £10. 50 per hour, straight shifts - Events and Restaurants
rhubarb is expanding its family at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world's most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 3 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are recruiting a self motivated Chef de Partie, who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Job role
- In collaboration with your Head Chef and the team you will ensure consistency of producing bespoke menus, dishes as per our customer needs.
- Alongside the Head Chef you will be responsible for the food ordering and compiling off all invoices and stock rotation.
- You are responsible for maintaining good food hygiene practices and due diligence as designated by legislation and the Head Chef's specification to include all HACCP recording and documentation.
Candidate profile
- Your past working experience will come from a 5* hotel, fast paced retail operation, bar or restaurant will provide a close fit with rhubarb's.
- You should be certified in H and S level 2 and Food Safety level 2 and ideally possess a Food safety level 3 certificate.
- You will be an excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills.
- You will be proficient within MS office, display great attention to detail and are methodological in your work approach.
