The Habit is a small independently owned bistro/café.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any chef with experience of on any level working within the hospitality industry looking to take the next step in their career. Cooking breakfast and lunch menus lead by the season.
There may also an opportunity to get involved with evening services.
You will have shared responsibility of running a small kitchen. Responsibilities will include daily organisation of kitchen, maintaining high standards of hygiene, health and safety, day to day kitchen orders for brunch, lunch and evening services, seasonal menu planning with the head chef, recording and reducing wastage levels. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to work from own initiative and enjoy leading a small team, also be able to give clear direction and work calmly under pressure.
Rate of pay is very competitive with tips and service charge on top.
