ESTATES TEAM VACANCY
Caretaker/Electrician
Salary: Grade E: £21,153 to £23,016 (Plus £1812 London Weighting per annum)
Hours per week: 38
An opportunity has arisen to join our Estates Team as a Caretaker / Electrician. The hours are based on alternating shift pattern of 06.00 until 14.30, and 14.30 to 22.00 (but may vary) every other week with occasional Saturdays being part of the working week where the following Friday is taken as an off day.
Requirements
Main duties include moving furniture basic DIY repairs including painting, cleaning, plumbing
Qualified electrician to undertake repair / maintenance of electrical plant plus new or modified electrical installation work including statutory testing of emergency lighting etc.
Knowledge of security / fire alarms and fire evacuation procedures
Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
Ability to work as part of a team
experience of working in an education establishment would advantageous but not essential. Main duties will be at Rush Green but will also be required to work at our satellite sites as and when required.
