Hi There,
It's an exciting time down at our studios! We are looking to add a Manager to our small expanding cafe team. As our business is growing our previous manager is now looking after the catering/food side of things and now we require a diligent and smart individual to push the cafe/on street trade. Please have a read through the below job description, if you feel you would fit in, reply with a short outline of what you can bring to the role.

Day to day responsibilities
Drive sales and presence of via local awareness, pr, social media and other streams of marketing e.g. Instagram, facebook, newsletters.
Delivery of business stratergies of with the support of the head chef.
Seek and maximize revenue opportunities and minimise cost.
Be a change agent, take pride in implementing new processes.
WORKing cohesively with the studios to understand guest and client expectations day to day.
Protect the health and safety and well being of our guests and colleagues in Hackney council guidelines.
Working protectively with the head Chef to ensure a seamless operation between studio catering and the cafe.
Be able to serve clients great coffee and execute the cafe menu to the standard of the head chef.
Develop a culture of continually seeking feedback from customers on a regular basis.
Managing sales and conversion of cafe products in studios e.g. Fridges and display.
Bi-weekly meetings between you and your team, setting goals and methods to continually improve client experience.
Support the head chef when called upon
Control costs without compromising standards and customer experience.
Foster a culture of flexibility
Responding quickly and positively to change as the culture of photography, film and events is ever changing.
Manage monthly stock-takes and review results and variances with relevant department.
Develop a motivated and high performing team committed to delivering clear goals.
Protect the health and safety and well being of our clients.
To communicate clearly to your team ensuring each shift is reviewed and handovers are carried out.
To manage rosters/rotas ensuring the cafe is always staffed properly.
Ensure a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards and taking corrective action.
Action and respond to alleged food hygiene issues, deploying ll necessary resources to protect reputation and brand integrity.
Stimulate change, challenge assumption and ways of working, to move the business forward.
Facilitate the creation of business strategies and conduct regular strategy update meetings.
