Job Title:              Butcher
Salary :                 £25k – 30k per annum depending on experience.
An excellent opportunity to join a family run Biltong / butchery business.
For this role you will need to be within commuting distance of Barking tube / train station.

Additional job information:

Based in Barking Essex,  a 5 min bus ride from Barking train / tube station.
We are looking for a hard working skilled butcher.
Working a 5 day week which includes a Saturday , (Weekly hours 8am-5pm / Saturday  9am-5pm)
28 Days holiday per year including bank holidays.

Ideally you will possess the following:

Knowledge of meat cuts and experienced cutting Beef, Lamb, Pork and Chicken.
Be prepared to learn new skills, Sausage making and the manufacturing of Beef Biltong.
Relevant butchery experience is essential as you will be working in a busy environment.
Good Customer skills as you will be serving customer over the counter in our factory butchery.
Good communication skills with the ability to perform duties under pressure.
Must speak, read and write in English.

Role information:

At least 2 years’ experience
Knowledge of using a Meat Bandsaw, sausage Filler an added advantage.
Most important must be able to work as part of a team, be a team player.
Must be able to work at a good pace and keep strict health and safety guidelines.
