The Company:
AT and T (GB) is a specialist in the distribution of electrical products in all electrical areas including cables, wiring accessories and lighting. We are now looking to recruit an ambitious and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team based in Reading.
The Role:
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be at forefront of representing the business by winning new customers as well as growing existing accounts. Your duties will include the following;
• Visiting customers on a daily basis to maximize sales opportunities
• Effective territory planning in order to maximize customer contact
• Presenting and communicating at all levels
• Working closely with the Sales Director to grow sales and importantly, margin
• Preparing and progressing quotations
• Ensuring continual awareness of new and updated products
• Exploiting all opportunities to supply a wider range of products
• Liaising with the Trade Counter Manager to ensure that customer requirements are delivered
The Person:
The successful applicant;
• Must have a proven track record in sales within the electrical wholesale industry
• Must have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Will have a good sense of humour and a passion for the electrical wholesale industry
• Will have a passion for excellent customer service and a desire to succeed
• May currently be manager of a small electrical wholesale outlet looking to excel in field sales
The Package:
Excellent package which includes: -
• Competitive basic salary of £30,000 with OTE of £75,000 (un capped)
• Car
• Pension
• Generous holiday entitlement
• Laptop/Mobile phone
• Expenses (company credit card)
