We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing team here at Black Sun. You’ll need to have experience working in a similar role, have strong communication skills with the ability to build internal and external relationships (so a friendly persona is essential!), a calm disposition (someone who thrives working in a busy environment), as well as a can-do attitude and a sense of fun (we like to work with people we actually like to spend time with!).
Your main responsibilities will include:
-Responsible for managing a portfolio of prospects, profiling prospective clients and maintaining the sales and marketing database.
-Assist with organising the company’s events programme (we do lots!)
-Support the coordination and delivery of the Company’s yearly mailing programs.
-Support the successful conception of all promotional material.
-Generate new business leads through internal research.
-Prepare new business documentation and information packs.
-Keep up to date with developments in our industry.

Required qualifications and experience:
-Degree level qualification (or equivalent), preferably in marketing.
-Demonstrable experience with new business/lead generation activities within an agency or B2B environment.
-Demonstrable experience managing events would be advantageous.
-Familiar with Microsoft Office packages and contact database systems.
-Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills are essential.
-Knowledge of the corporate communications industry would be advantageous.
