The Columbia Hotel is looking for a part time Breakfast Chef to join our busy breakfast team.
Start Date: Immediate
Salary / Remuneration: £8.50 /hour / staff meals on duty
Shifts: Flexible 2 or 3 days a week. Shifts are 4 ½ hours long starting at 6am to 10.30am. Requirements are for weekend and weekday shifts.
The Breakfast Chef role will be responsible for the following: -
- Carrying out Breakfast Chef duties in a professional manner.
- Delivering the English breakfast menu with current standards on taste and presentation.
- Baking of breads and prepping of cold cut items for the continental breakfast buffet for next day
- Ensuring the kitchen functions within relevant hygiene, health and safety guidelines.
Candidates must be reliable, positive and have a passion for cooking. References required and previous restaurant / kitchen experience is essential.

We are a very busy budget hotel which aims to offer modern day requirements, whilst retaining the character of the original Victorian-buildings.
