Bookkeeper / Administrator Part-Time Leytonstone, London (E11 3AJ)Flexible hours 22 hours per week. Salary GBP 8-10 per hour. Company Profile and Role;London based Security Company specialising in Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems Our client is a rapidly growing security company within the security industry and recognised as an Insurance Approved company. They are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing business. Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for the day to day financial functioning of the business along with Alarm Administration for smooth running of the office.Key Responsibilities; * Full range of bookkeeping duties- including sales, purchase and nominal ledgers * Management of 'jobs/projects'- detailing costs, raising client invoices * Managing corporate clients and accounts, and employee sales commissions * Bank reconciliations and cash flow management * Providing Directors with weekly payment runs to ensure timely payment of suppliers * Ensuring prompt payment of all receivables * Managing petty cash, employee expenses and holidays/absences * Assisting with monthly payroll and pension administration * Monthly reconciliation of company credit cards * VAT Return- preparation and submission * Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation * Monitoring and reporting on variances to budgets, client accounts, banks etc. * Assisting with end of year accounts for the company's external accountants * Liaising with the company's external accountants as needed * General Office / Administration duties Skills and experience; * Fully proficient in Free Agent Cloud Accounting software or similar * Bookkeeping experience: Minimum 3 + years and ideally with AAT qualification * Good general IT skills and proficiency in Excel and Word * Strong organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail * Good verbal and written communication skills * Proactive, reliable, personable and enthusiastic * experience in the alarm industry or an advantage but not essential The ideal candidate will, as well as being an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator, be organised and conscientious and pay excellent attention to detail.
