A rapidly growing vegan restaurant business is on the search for a creative, hands-on and level headed bookkeeper to join their company in this initially stand alone position at their Head Office in Hammersmith.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Purchase Ledger
Process of supplier invoices into Xero
Process payment of supplier invoices
Production of Sales Invoices and processing into Xero.
You will prepare staff pay figures
Input and maintain customer and supplier records.
You will prepare paperwork for end of year accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
Month end preparation and simple management accounts.
Ad hoc financial duties
Answering the telephone, taking and relaying message and dealing with email enquiries.
You will provide general administrative support, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, making routine phone calls, filing and maintaining files in an orderly fashion, sorting and distributing incoming post and organising and sending outgoing post.
And any other day to day admin duties not specified above.
Candidate requirements:
Xero experience (essential)
Bookkeeping / Accounts Assistant experience (essential)
AAT qualified (desirable)
You will have excellent verbal and written skills.
You will have a smart appearance
You will be organised, punctual, flexible and able to meet deadlines.
Ability to work under own initiative
