Urban Smoothie Bikes is a health focused events company based in Croydon, South London. We currently specialise in pedal powered smoothies using specially adapted bicycles that blend the smoothies as you pedal!
We are now looking for an experienced accounts assistant/ book keeper to join us in our friendly office. The right candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of Xero as well as experience of working within a small business environment.
Duties will include:
• Customer invoicing
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable - including chasing customer invoice payments
• VAT
• Stock ordering
• Bank reconciliation
• Job cost monitoring
• Contacting customers by phone and email
• Liaising with suppliers, regarding orders/deliveries/invoices
• Liaising with the accountant
• Insurance - maintaining Employers and PL Insurance
• Helping to prepare Year End accounts to submit to accountant
Person specification:
• Excellent knowledge of Xero software
• experience of working within a small business essential
• Must be extremely accurate
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially excel
• Will have a bookkeeping or accountancy qualification
• Knowledge of Capsule CRMS a distinct advantage!
Hours and Pay
• Immediate Start
• £13.00 - £15.00 per hour
• To work 7 - 15 hours a week (can be flexible on days)
• Preferably self-employed
