Book Keeper Job in London

We are looking for an experienced part-time book-keeper to join our expanding property group in West London. We need someone who is self-motivated and able to work within deadlines. This role is heavily reliant on being proactive and keeping all records up to date, ready to be presented to the management at any given time. This role will involve taking the authority of the daily/weekly financial dealings and being able to record them accurately.

Your day to day duties and responsibilities will include:
• All supplier payments and staff expenses using various on-line banking systems.
Data entry of invoices, receipts, remittances, cheques etc in to Sage 50.
• Monthly bank reconciliations accounts Sage 50.
• Working with and assisting the Financial Controller by ensuring all records are up to date.
• Dealing with management queries and payment requests.
• All filing for the department, routine and annual.
• Inter-company transaction postings.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has the following attributes.
• Strong understanding of purchase ledger and general bookkeeping.
• Ability to maintain multiple tasks within a single period.
• Ability to work proactively and be armed with updated figures.
• Ability to present financial records in a user-friendly way.
• Preferably 3-5 + years of experience in the field.
• Ability to work on your own and liaise with the non-financial team.
• experience of MS Office, especially Excel to advanced level.
• Proficient in using Sage 50 accounts.
• Enjoys working in a small/medium sized tightly knit office environment.
• 100% Accuracy in all payments and made on a timely basis.
• A relevant qualification would be an advantage, as would experience in the property industry.
