Berber and Q is seeking a full-time kitchen porter for our Middle-Eastern grill-house restaurant in Haggerston. Berber and Q is a grill house located in a railway arch in East London, inspired by the Middle East and North Africa as well as taking influence from American BBQ culture. We are an informal eatery using a mix of authentic Middle Eastern flavours combined with more Western cooking techniques. There is a focus on hot-smoking, BBQ rubs and of course our open grill, with inspiration taken from the many grilled meats that can be found across the Eastern Mediterranean and North Africa. We make our own sausages and pickles, brine and marinade our meats, and smoke low ‘n’ slow. There is also an emphasis on vegetables, with an ever-changing array of mezze to compliment our meats.
In order to become a Berber and Q affiliate you need:
- At least 1 year restaurant working experience in the kitchen
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Huge smile, big heart and an extra arm
