We're an established coffee house based on Hackney Road, close to Shoreditch and Broadway and Colombia Road markets. We’ve been serving great speciality coffee for close to 2 years and are about to embark on a massive expansion and redevelopment of our existing site. We are aiming to establish ourselves as a premier East London espresso bar, cocktail experience and informal dining venue, set over 5000 sq ft in an old Victorian building with Heaps of character.
We have a team of 3 experienced baristas, as part of a wider team, and are looking for a new part-time barista to join us. The role would work on a Rota pattern of around 20-25 hours, although we have some flexibility on this. It's an exciting time to be joining the business, and we’re looking for someone passionate and creative to help develop our range of hot and cold beverages and food offering. We’ve also just created our own branded speciality coffee range and are about to launch our website and e-commerce platform.
We’re passionate about delivering great customer service, and we’re looking for individuals with a fun personality who can be ambassadors for our brand. We’re also keen for our staff to take on as much or as little responsibility as they desire. As our business grows, we hope our staff will want to grow and develop their own careers– whether that is becoming a coffee expert and helping us to improve/develop new products, taking on management responsibility, or moving into a business role working within sales, finance or marketing.
This is a part-time position and we are seeking baristas that have been working with speciality coffee for a minimum of 1 year.
