Experienced barista and bar team for an immediate start. £9.20p/h including service(£7.20 basic plus £2 service) for our Megan's in Kings Rd SW6 2EB (Featured on Made In Chelsea!), near Fulham Broadway. We are looking for people who can competently run a busy section, with a passion for good wine, healthy food and drinks, great coffee and top notch relaxed yet professional service..
What's the role:
• Making delicious top notch coffees using our triple-certified blend of beans (Organic, Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance) and our beautiful Dalla Corte machine and synced grinder.
• Serving from the delicious array of fresh cakes and pastries.
• Making fresh smoothies and juices for our busy loyal take-away and dinning guests.
• Serving wine / cocktails
• Manning the bar and its upkeep. Keeping a tidy and organised, presentable section at all times.
• Ideally we are looking for someone who can also be flexible to get Stuck in and do a couple of floor shifts although this isn't essential.
The potential candidate would have;
• Be fluent in English. Minimum 2 years experience of busy all day restaurants/cafés (we have a busy daytime takeaway trade as well as the full restaurant offer).
• experience running and controlling a busy section and a keenness to better themselves.
• Keeps a very clean and organised station at all times. Forward thinking and pro-active.
• Passion for food, wine, great coffee, tasty healthy ingredients and life.
• Hardworking, motivated, efficient, fast, hands on, personable, thorough with attention to detail and a thirst for perfection.
• Have a positive attitude, meticulous attention to detail and a skill for building a rapport with our guests.
• Enjoy continual training to build the knowledge of a King! :-)
• Able to work evenings and weekends. We are open serving breakfast, brunch and dinner.
