We, at Detour Café, are looking for a fantastic and fun Part Time Barista/Cafe All Rounder to join our professional and lovely team.
Our café is an independently owned business that has a solid reputation with the locals for having great food, great coffee and great service. If you are fun, professional, passionate and enthusiastic then you will complete our fantastic team. Hopefully you will have a passion for coffee, food, and people, and are clean and tidy. You must also have good english and communication skills.
Responsibilities will include opening and closing the café, providing great customer service skills, cleanliness and attention to detail. You will be coming into a team where everyone does a little of everything so serving food and drinks, being a barista, running around clearing tables, being flexible with shifts (we are a seven day operation, so some weekend working will be required) and performing cleaning tasks. No evening work is required.
We would prefer a candidate with hospitality and strong barista experience, but for the right candidate we can provide training.
