We are an independent café in East London - Clapton - serving vegan and vegetarian food. As we are growing fast, we are looking for a passionate barista/cafe assistant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is very passionate about coffee and food, who can be a real team player and join our small team - we all really get on well and we would like to keep a friendly and lovely environment. If you have an interest in a plant based diet then this is the place for you!
For the first few weeks you will be working par time but as we are soon going to be open in the evenings we can offer you a full time position pretty soon - mid May.
You must be able to start as soon as possible, available to work in the weekends and evenings - you will only do one weekend shift per week and couple of evening shifts (unless you want to do more hours). We open at 7am and close about 10/11pm.
Cafe Assistant / Barista
Your main duties could include:
• serving food and drinks
• operating the till
• preparing the coffee shop ready for opening
• taking customer orders and payments
• grinding fresh coffee beans
• preparing and serving sandwiches
• cleaning and tidying work areas, equipment and coffee machines
