ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the owners of the business in delivering a high level of customer service; maintain a professional and efficient business both front and back of house and deputising for the owners in their absence. Duties will include:
• To manage the day to day running of the business, maintaining a high levels of retail standards and customers service.
• To support business owners in delivering business aims and objectives.
• To manage the team in delivering an excellent product at all times.
• To plan staff rotas in accordance with the required financial targets and to ensure the team are managed in accordance with the house rules and any relative current employment legislation.
• To ensure that the business complies with legislative compliance issues, such as health and safety, food hygiene etc.
• To assist in the recruitment and training of the team.
• To handle customer enquiries and demonstrate positive problem solving.
• To manage the business’s social media.
• To complete the closedown of the business with due regard for security and safety.
• To accurately complete stock and order procedures and receipt of deliveries.
• To maintain the security of all stock, cash and customer belongings while on the premises.
• To assist in the management of financial targets and budgets to maximize profitability.
• To attend business reviews, training, appraisals and team meetings as required by the Owners.
• To perform supporting tasks as required by the Owners.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Personal Licence Holder.
• Good Literacy/Numeracy skills.
• Computer Literate
• Current Food Hygiene level 2 (can be provided via e-learning but must be completed prior to a start date being agreed).
PREFERRED SKILLS
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
• NVQ Level 3 Hospitality Supervisory Management, similar qualification or references to demonstrate experience at this level.
• Health and Safety
• First Aid Certificate.
