We are a happy and friendly family of four living in West Hampstead, London and we are looking for someone to help us with the children and around the house, mostly during the week.
A little more about us:
Our family consists of Mum, Dad, a little girl who will be five in January, and a son who will be two in November.
What we need:
We are looking for someone who is mature, proactive, reliable and flexible. This is the first time we are looking for this kind of help and we are keen to make it a success for both sides.
What we need can be broken down into four main areas:
During the school term, I need help getting the kids ready for school in the morning, picking them up in the evening, dinner, bath and bedtime.
During half term and holidays, there would be a combination of things. For some weeks, we would be away on holiday, which would give you completely free time when you would be welcome to travel or stay at home. And there would be days when mum and dad are both at work, and the kids need to be looked after, possibly taking them to local parks, grandparents’ house, holiday camps, etc.
Around the house, we currently have a cleaner, but we would ideally like to have someone who can help with household cleaning rather than having two people. The jobs would include laundry and ironing, hovering, dusting and mopping, cleaning the bathrooms and the kitchen. There may be some incidental jobs too, but nothing of a heavy nature.
We may also need babysitting once or twice a week.
We need someone who can drive as the school drop offs, pick ups and general day care will require a car.
Since we are both around at weekends, you would have Saturday and Sunday free too.
We would like someone who can stay with us for a minimum of two years to minimise the settling in, change overs, etc for the kids. We will need you to start by late August or early September.
We are considering both live in and live out options.
We would require two references, at least one of which is UK based.
