We would love to find a kind, responsible and fun-loving au pair to join our family from the end of April or beginning of May 18 for a minimum of 1 year to help us look after our 2 children, a girl of 8 and a boy of 6.
We live in Chiswick, a nice area of London with lots of shops, cafes, parks and other au pairs!   Your daily routine will involve helping the children to get ready for school, and dropping them off there around 8 or 8.45am; then picking them up after school, taking them to their various activities then giving them dinner and getting them ready for bed.  We are usually home around 6.30 or 7pm.   There would be some light housekeeping (mainly ironing!) to fit in but you would have most of your days (and weekends) free.    We also ask for babysitting up to 2 evenings a week (although we often don't use this!).
You must speak good English and have had previous childcare experience - you might already be in London and looking for a new role. You’ll often have sole charge of the kids for a few hours a day while we’re at work so we are looking for someone who is comfortable with that responsibility. We are a welcoming family and our kids are very affectionate - we are still in touch with all our previous au pair and nannies!   The role would suit someone who is happy to be relatively independent.
Must be able to provide checkable references.
