We are looking for a Helpful, organised, hardworking Live in Aupair/Housekeeper who loves kids, animals and housework. Beginning immediately.
A basic understanding of English is required and experience of living away from home is preferable. We are looking for a cheerful, flexible Housekeeper/Au Pair who would love to help our family.
The work would involve 5 hours a day of housework (cleaning, tidying, laundry, and any other tasks to help keep the house clean and organised) childminding and looking after the dog - 5 days/week, occasional school pick up and two baby-sitting evenings a week. THE JOB IS MAINLY TIDYING AND CLEANING, there will occasionally be short periods of a day or 2 when require round the clock childcare (giving them dinner, supervising homework and putting them to bed etc)
Accommodation is your own sunny and bright room in a separate part of the house, with close access to a toilet and bathroom. There is a TV and access to WIFI.
We live in leafy and safe London suburb which is easily accessible by overground train (London Victoria is 17 minutes away).
NON-SMOKERS ONLY. WE DO NOT ALLOW ALCOHOL IN THE HOUSE. We are a family of five, my husband and I and our three daugther's, 14 and 11 year old twins. We live in a big house with a large garden, we are in the suburbs but very near a shopping mall and cinema and only a 17 minute train ride from central London. My husband can work away from home for long periods or be at home for long periods. I can be away from home for two days but not very often.
We love to centre our life around our home and family, She must be able to work and live alongside our family so would need a sensitive and warm personality, she will also need to be VERY INDEPENDENT. Our plans can at times be unpredictable so they would need to be accommodating and flexible to last minute changes of plan. We are looking for someone who is well travelled and has a good education, someone who knows about the world outside of their hometown. Someone who can fit into our family but also have enough independence to explore London and take themselves around.
Pocket money of 100.00 per week including food (you will eat with the children, other basic provisions are provided, anything outside of this will be paid for by you) and accommodation depending on experience and references.
