HJPM are looking for someone to join a team of five at a small property management company based in Wimbledon Park. We are a growing business with plenty of exciting opportunities for the right individual. We are not an estate agency.
You will be providing support to the existing property management team in delivering exceptional service to their clients and tenants.
It is a varied position with many interesting refurbishment projects in the longer term; creating relationships is important and can be very rewarding with landlords, tenants and contractors. No day is the same as another, you will often be out of the office and must be able to work using your own initiative to solve both logistical and property related problems. Full support and ongoing property specific training is given from the start.
No experience is necessary, but you must be willing to learn and develop your skills. A full UK driving licence is a must.
Duties
Support and assist the Property Manager with the day to day management of properties.
Proactively deal with tenant and client queries quickly and efficiently.
Arrange maintenance works at properties and ensure they are completed promptly and to a good standard.
Organise gas safety records, electrical certificates and other legislative paperwork.
Check and authorise contractor invoices for payment.
Undertake property visits and report to clients.
Arrange inventory, check-in and check-out appointments.
Ensure both landlord and tenant comply with statutory and contractual obligations.
Understand and keep up to date with industry and legislative changes.
Provide holiday cover on Property Management team portfolios.
General office management and administration as required.
Data entry and updating landlord and tenant details.
Updating all records and any other functions related to property management.
Basic property repairs such as change bulbs, bleed radiators, occasional help assembling furniture and similar.
Seek opportunities to contribute in order to develop self and to meet current and future business goals.

Communicative and well spoken. Good written English is a must.
A UK driving licence holder
Be able to start at 8.30am at least two mornings a week to meet contractors.
Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm (start/finish hours are flexible) with an on-call Rota for evenings and weekends.
