Assistant Manager/ Head of Reception
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced hospitality professional to join the management in this charming Guest House (40 + rooms) in North West London
The accommodation is well established and has built an excellent reputation in the market.
We are looking for an individual who has a friendly and upbeat personality, experience in a supervisory position and also the required technical skill in order to master room management software and tools.

Assistant Manager role:
• Deputising for the General Manager
• Take ownership to resolve problems and empower your team to do the same
• Help develop sales and marketing strategies and see them realised
• Effectively manage labour productivity
• Assist with administrational duties
• Input in strategic planning of the wider operation
Head of Reception role:
• Lead the team in delivering an excellent guest experience
• Training and development of the team
• Apply revue management and marketing strategies
• Promote services in order to increase customer satisfaction
• Ability to manage customer preference, loyalty, and satisfaction
• Inventory controls of supplies and equipment
What skills we are looking for:
• At least 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of at least one hotel reservation system
• Understanding of the needs required in hospitality
• An understanding of what amazing guest service looks like
• Ability to be a role model
• Passionate about great service
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work calmly under pressure
• Skilled in organising and planning
• Excellent verbal communication.
