Located between Turnham Green and Chiswick Park Stations, The Duke of Sussex in Chiswick serves a fantastic mix of British and authentic freshly cooked Spanish cuisine with a menu that changes daily. Serving up to 300 covers per day, this characterful eating house is truly one of the best in West London.
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager that has worked high volume restaurants or in premium fresh food pubs and can understand the essence of serving diners with a relaxed yet attentive style.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for running service alongside the General Manager, training and developing the front of house team and engaging with guests that are both new customers and trusted regulars.
The main responsibilities include:

-       Day to day administration of the venue.
-       Supporting the General Manager with ordering, compliance, Human Resources and marketing.
-       Taking responsibility for the business in the absence of the General Manager.
-       Successful day to day management of the Restaurant/Pub.
-       Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met.
-       Ensure all guest complaints are dealt with efficiently.
-       Continuously delivering great customer service.
-       A hands on approach and leadership by example is essential.
-       Developing a high performing and motivated team.
