We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join the team in our established Pub in Richmond town centre.

Our particular style of operation allows the successful candidate an opportunity to make a real difference in the running and success of this unique venue.
We are located down a cobbled street in the town centre, and whilst there is loads of eighteenth century charm with the building, our offer is quality led, exciting and exhibiting the very best of British food, traditional Ales and cutting edge cocktails.

The emphasis is on your character. You must love what you do and be able to display this to the guest. This is the most fun to be had in Richmond’s bar and restaurant scene and we want you to be as proud of it as we are.
You must be

Guest obsessed – your customers are always right.
Be able to motivate others around you with your enthusiasm.
Have a reasonable food and drinks knowledge – we will show you the rest.
Be interested in the performance of the business, you will be part of weekly PnL meetings to make the business grow.
Well-presented and articulate and not afraid to interact fully with our guests, we are a full service environment even though we look a bit like a pub and your ability to converse and entertain is essential.

Responsibilities will include:

The everyday running of the pub with particular emphasis on the bar.
Cashing out and wage management
Profit and Loss
Meeting your KPI goals
Staff training and recruitment

The ideal candidate will have previous management, bar or waiting experience and could be looking for the next step up. References are essential and we will need two referees in this country.
Uk passport or work Visa essential.
