Six Portland Road is a 36 cover restaurant located in Holland Park, West London. We are looking for an assistant manager to join our small team. Once trained, you will be required to help with the day to day management of the restaurant. We have approximately 150 wines from 4 or 5 importers. An enthusiasm and knowledge of wine is required, ideally with Advanced WSET or the equivalent experience. An understanding of cashing up, stocktakes and general restaurant management is essential. This is a hands on role focusing on service and the restaurant, it is not for someone looking to sit in an office (we don't have one). The restaurant is closed on Sunday evening and all day Monday. We close over the Christmas period and for two weeks at the end of August. Excellent spoken and written English vital.
