We are now looking for an enthusiastic, hospitality focused, energetic and experienced candidate to join us as Assistant General Manager at The Salusbury Pub and Dining Room in Queens Park, London.
The Salusbury first opened its doors in 1999. Since then it has established a reputation for being the pioneering gastro pub of the area by bringing quality, seasonal and regional menus to Queens Park.

As Assistant General Manager you will support the General Manager in the day to day running of the pub and restaurant. You will focus on providing excellent customer service while taking charge of a busy shift. You will direct, support and motivate the staff to achieve the highest standards and in delivering the best possible customer experience. You will demonstrate the necessary skills and a good understanding of the day to day operation of a busy restaurant. Your commitment to the management team will be key to ensure that the restaurant operates at peak efficiency while maintaining standards in service, health and safety and cleanliness. You will become an essential part of the unique atmosphere and experience that our customers have come to expect from The Salusbury.

Proven experience in a similar role in a high volume casual dining or gastro pub environment.
Significant experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
A passion for the hospitality industry and a wish to succeed and push yourself forward within a rewarding work environment.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally and effectively in all situations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
