Administrator Apprentice Job

As the office administrator, you will report to the General Manager assist the sales team, develop and increase sales and profit.
Repertoire Culinaire specialise in the importation and distribution of high-quality food products, either chilled, ambient or frozen.
Entry requirements:
Have a minimum of five GCSEs at grades A*-C including Maths and English (or equivalent). You will also have good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft packages. Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.
You will be completing a level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship with White Hat.
Location: nearest stations are Cambridge Heath and London Fields overground, London
Principal responsibilities and Objectives:
1. Work to achieve and exceed company sales and profit targets.
2. To support sales reps to develop turnover and margins for customers.
3. To provide general assistance to a sales rep and Telesales.
4. To answer the sales telephone lines and take the necessary action to ensure the customer is well looked after.
5. To deal with any calls effectively. Incoming or outgoing calls to an existing database of clients or potential new clients to deal with customer needs. To enable and encourage new and more orders, meetings, client database is accurate and up to date, etc.
6. To take customers’ orders and boosting more products where possible and trying to sell specials and newsletter promotions.
7. To Telephone customers for their orders for Telesales and other products.
8. To answer any questions about the product range, customer account, special offers, etc.
9. To notify customers of any problems with the days orders so they can make alternative arrangements.
10. To keep customers aware of changes to the range and of promotional specials.
11. To keep accurate customer records – on the computer, files.
12. Any other adhoc projects and duties as and when required i.e. Invoicing, delivering, making up, samples, generally taking a flexible approach in a small business where everyone needs to help out when it gets very busy.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
