As our expansion grows and orders continue to increase, we’re looking for a responsible full-time Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team and perform a variety of admin and support tasks.
Job Description
You will report directly to our busy (but ever-so-pleasant) office manager and work closely with other staff, including directors, to provide much-needed administrative assistance. Your main duties will include supporting customer service by receiving telephone calls, processing and responding to customer’s incoming emails, dealing with Royal Mail and couriers (as we supply direct to many customers this is an important and busy function), downloading customers’ orders from numerous online platforms, processing customers’ returns, uploading tracking and general office administration – all in all helping to maintain our exemplary performance metrics.
While full training will be provided, experience of working with online retailers or in a busy sales environment would be a distinct advantage. A sound knowledge of standard office software packages such as Microsoft Excel and Word is a must, as is the ability to work accurately and diligently, to improvise, think on your feet and adapt to the demands of a fast-paced online organisation, particularly during peak sales periods (such as Christmas) when orders rocket. You will possess great verbal and written communication abilities, exhibit excellent time management skills, be reliable, confident and have a positive attitude – but above all have a cheerful, friendly and flexible disposition!
