St. Publius Corporate Services Ltd. Is a business consultancy company which helps clients to manage there bookeeping duties and supports clients with incorporation of companies in Hongkong, UK and Malta.
We`re searching an Assistant for our accountant in our Office in London Victoria. Most of our clients are german speaking therefore german language skills would be a plus. At the moment we`re searching for a part time Assistant but full time employment can be discussed if quired and preferred.
Accounts and admin assistant role, duties and responsibilities.
An Accounts Assistant will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:
- General Administrative tasks such as maintaining spreadsheets and filing.
- Assisting in the preparation of the statutory year end accounts and VAT returns (data entry mainly)
- Managing daily post in and out
- Handling and writing emails to clients.
- Verifying calculations working with the Accounts system.
- Bank Reconciliation on ad hoc basis
- Managing petty cash transactions
Person Specification. Typical qualities of a successful Accounts and admin Assistant include:
- Strong understanding of the workings of an office.
- Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping.
- Would be working towards an AAT, ACCA certificate or related accountancy.
Qualification preferably early stage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external contacts.
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes.
