Accounting Intern required for a growing Accountancy Practice situated near Turnpike Lane station in North London, with an immediate start.
This position is ideally for someone who is currently studying towards AAT/ ATT/ ACCA (or similar). You do not need any practice experience but you will have a strong work ethic, conversational English, a friendly disposition and a desire to find a permanent job from this internship. Practice experience is preferably but not a requirement.
You will be able to touch type, be able to converse with clients, learn various accounting packages and work as part of a team.
The length of the work placement is 3-6 months. Thereafter, an appraisal of your work would be conducted and we will either offer you a permanent position within the firm or extend your training contract. At this point, you can decide to join another firm or leave us, but not within the first 6 months.
The training and work experience Chartered Accountants give to their staff is in high demand by firms in the market.
Note that this position welcomes people who have even the most basic accounting knowledge. However, you need to be computer literate and able to work on generic software such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
