Youth Project Manager in London

Peabody has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Project Manager - (Homelessness Support) to join our team in London. The successful applicant will join us on a full time, fixed term contract until September 2022  and will receive a competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum.
This Youth Project Manager role will be responsible for managing all delivery of ‘Transitions’, an award winning, homelessness support service for young people, delivered across the Boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster. The service works in partnership with Local Authorities, charities and a range of public sector organisations to support young people at risk and equip them with the skills and resources to successfully progress into independent living.
Peabody has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Youth Project Manager who has an understanding and background of supporting young people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, and a sound understanding of project management, to co-ordinate and manage youth homelessness services across Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster as part of Peabody Young People Services.
Peabody Young People Services is an award winning facilitator of innovative youth projects and programs. We provide 21st Century opportunities to young people across London – with a focus on Peabody communities, to ensure that they are successful in later life.
Our previous projects include the high profile Oii My Size campaign, the augmented reality app and website Your Choice Your Future, the Children in Need fashion programme Threads and the Ask Keely App. Our current delivery offer focuses on the three strands of Enterprise Development, Young Leaders Young Ambassadors and our Careers Academy.
The work we deliver and support is accredited through nationally recognised qualifications and we are dedicated to working in partnership to effectively respond to the needs of young people and their communities, and to ensure creativity, flexibility and the highest level of professional quality are incorporated into every element of our service.
This particular vacancy will manage the Transitions project which provides flexible and intensive support to young people who are either homeless or risking homelessness within Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster. 
The key elements of this Youth Project Manager role are the management of local partnerships with youth organisations and agencies from all sectors to address the issue of youth homelessness, the allocation of tenancies to young people, the management and allocation of personal budgets and the delivery of personalised interventions to support vulnerable young people to progress.

- JNC qualification or equivalent experience
