We are looking to appoint a Hostel receptionist. We are looking for a full time, live in, enthusiastic and social individual to work at this busy London based hostel which attracts a wide demographic of cliental.  The candidate will assist the General manager and assume responsibility in his absence.  He/she will be responsible for maintaining and improving customer satisfaction levels, promoting the presence of the hostel through social media, managing the cleaning and breakfast staff and overall improvement in all areas of the running of the hostel.
The candidate should have some experience with reception-based responsibilities such as:

Answering phones
Checking in/out of customers
Maintaining the booking diary
Using spreadsheets
Balancing and cashing up
Managing a small group of staff
Logging timesheets
Using social media as a platform to promote the hostel.

Previous experience within the hospitality industry would be beneficial to the candidate, but in job training will be offered.
