About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented C#/XAML Developer to help with some of our most innovative projects for high-profile clients across the world and to join a leading digital consultancy in central London.
About you:
You will be joining our Windows development team of passionate developers with decades of experience between them, working on projects using the UWP platform for Windows 10 across a range of devices including desktop, tablet, phone and Xbox One. As well as working with the team on a daily basis you will also have the opportunity to work directly with the clients and stakeholders of the projects you work on as we believe direct communication yields the best results. You’ll enjoy working on multiple projects in a given year each with their own technical challenges to overcome, and value high quality user experiences in your finished products.
Core skills required for the role:
• experience of C#/XAML development within a commercial environment (either WPF, Silverlight or WinRT/UWP).
• Strong.NET or WinRT library knowledge.
• Good understanding of calling HTTP APIs and interpreting JSON or XML responses.
• Ability to solve problems, provide solutions and play an interactive role within a team environment.
• The ability to work on own initiative and be results focused.
• Excellent time management skills.
Very Desirable core skills:
• A proven history with the UWP Windows 10 platform or WinRT for Windows 8.1/Windows Phone 8.1 with demonstrable projects that have been delivered in your career or personal side projects.
• experience with building media based apps either video or audio in primary purpose.
• Demonstrable knowledge of animation APIs that are used within the WinRT or UWP frameworks
• Other platform experiences are a bonus.
