We are an accountancy practice based in North London and looking to hire a trainee accountant on a part time voluntary basis. This role is ideal for candidates who are studying towards an accountancy qualification and want to gain work experience at the same time. Although the position is on a voluntary/unpaid training basis the role can be extended to permanent part time or full time basis depending on candidate performance and learning.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, a quick leaner, flexible and must have basic knowledge of using a computer.
Key responsibilities will include bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, payroll, annual accounts, tax returns, liaising with clients and general admin etc.
No prior experience required.
