Nanny and Child are working with a family based in the heart of “Nappy Valley” in SW11, between the commons and within walking distance to the lively Northcote Road. There is a large local nanny community with lots of children-centred activities just a stone’s throw away.
We are hiring a live-in full-time nanny to start at the end of May 2022, for sole charge of 3 children; two girls aged 6 and 3 and a boy aged.
1. One of the children is at school, with another starting in September so the majority of the day will be with our clients little boy. The children have a great relationship with each other are always entertaining and enjoy the outdoors.
The hours would be 8.00am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required, and 4-6 nights a month babysitting. The holiday allowance is a generous 25 days per annum excluding bank holiday. The salary is competitive according to level of experience and you will be provided with excellent accommodation. Inevitably, you will become a part of the family but as our clients are experienced nanny employers they understand the importance of your privacy and respecting your time off.
The ideal candidate is highly reliable, very organised, pro-active, creative, caring and loves working with children of differing ages.
Responsibilities include nursery duties, preparing meals, organising activities, play dates, nursery and school drop offs and pickups.
Essential requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience
Enhanced DBS check
Hold at least one recognised childcare qualification or the equivalent work experience
At least two contactable references
Pet friendly
Swimmer
Good communicator
Confident driver
Able to prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for the children.
