Womenswear Designer
We are looking to recruit a Womenswear Designer to work closely with company director to produce seasonal collections. The position is full-time at Isleworth, West London.
Key responsibilities:
• To conduct seasonal research, trend analysis, and to create mood boards to present internally and to customers
• To develop and design market focused multi-product across all current ranges which include jersey, woven, outerwear, denim products, and accessories, in line with the brand aesthetic.
• Creation of product specification and technical packs/size charts.
• To undertake garment fitting and sample amendments.
• Production management from sampling to production, working in line with critical path and deadlines.
• Factory visits and fabric sourcing trips.
Requirements:
• Previous relevant design experience.
• Previous Production Management experience.
• Strong CAD, excellent PhotoShop and Illustrator skills.
• Keen knowledge of our market sector.
• Strong, clear and competent communication skills, specifically by email.
• Confidence, self motivation and excellent trend awareness.
• An excellent technical understanding of garment design, and fit.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Graphic design interest and experience.
Salary: 25-30K based on experience.
