We are an independent wine-merchant based in London. Since 2009, we have been seeking out hand-crafted wines from relatively unknown vineyards around the world. We directly import all of our wines so customers pay for the wine they are drinking, avoiding unpalatable margins for agents, importers and distributers.We opened Humble Grape wine bar and shop in Battersea, where wines can be bought by the glass or bottle to drink-in (accompanied by food) or by the bottle or case to takeaway. And we just launch or second site in Central London too. As part of our passion for wine, we are dedicated to providing opportunities for everyone to develop their understanding, knowledge and appreciation of wine, from the new to more experienced wine drinker.
Candidates are required to have the following:
- Minimum WSET level 2 or equivalent required
- Great communication skills and customer service
- Ability to work in a team
- Passion about wine
- Open to working flexible hours
- Service experience essential
