WINE SHOP IN SHOREDITCH SEEKS WINE BOFF!
The Grocery has been open 10 years and serves around 6000- 8000 customers a week with organic and natural groceries. We have a dedicated wine shop which specialises in Organic and natural wines, the two buildings are connected. We hold 400 Bins and around 300 spirits as well as many great Beers and Ales.
We are looking for someone who likes to work as part of a team and is a great communicator. The role will bond you close to regular customers as you get to know the locals.
The job will require applicants to:
- thoroughly understanding of all beverages sold
- Place wine and drink orders (training will be provided),
- Help to maintain the wine list
- Help with wine tastings and events
- Ability to follow clear instructions and maintain standards
- Adhere to Health and Safety policy, responsibilities and obligations
- To stock up the shop
- To know the regulars and their names
- To provide the clientele with great service so their expectations are exceeded!
Ideal Candidate:
- experience in retail
- level 1 or 2 WSET
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Be able to understand and speak English fluently
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn new techniques, cocktails and wines and Beers
- The position is full time with 28 days paid holiday an competitive rate of pay.
