Well Paid Warehouse/Logistic Operative
Due to the growing demands of our fashion concessions and wholesale business, we are currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative to work within our warehouse.
experience within a Warehouse is necessary; you will need to be comfortable following operational processes and procedures, together with a good track record of employment. Having a good level of numeracy and literacy skills is essential together with the ability to be able to use your interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers. A high energy level is essential!
Duties:
Manual handling pallet trucks;
Picking and Packing Concessions and Internet orders
Sorting out returned goods and locating them back to the correct shelves
Picking and Packing the wholesale orders, sealing boxes;
Building up boxes on pallets; wrapping pallets;
Booking deliveries and tracking the status of the parcels;
Emptying trucks that come in to warehouse.
Manual handling, loading and unloading deliveries/boxes.
Editing box labels and packing lists in computer ( Word , Excel )
Ensuring that correct goods and quantities are picked.
Keeping the warehouse and packing room in a safe and tidy condition.
Ensuring the floor is free of any dangerous substances
Assisting other warehouse colleagues to ensure all work is completed in good time.
Maintaining health and Safety Standards
Working within a physically demanding environment
Operating of Mechanical Handling Equipment
(Please note that this role involves heavy lifting and is physically demanding)
Requirements:
2 years warehouse operative/ logistic work experience is essential ;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
Computer skills will be a plus for this job, which will lead to a higher paid rate for excellent using Word and Excel in order to edit packing lists, box labels, stock level data input , etc.
Payment:
from £8.25 up to £9.25 per hour depending on experience and skills
Salary Neg. Above average for the right Candidate

Hours:
Initially working hours is 24 hours per week, soon leading to Full Time;
Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day, 08:30 – 17:30, 1 hour unpaid break.
