Ased in a beautiful part of London, just 2 minutes walk from Hyde Park, and close to the V and A and the Natural History Museum, the Gloucester Road Oxfam shop is one of the busiest shops in London. Our aim is to fight poverty all around the world by raising as much money as possible by selling the items, which are donated to us.
The Customer Sales Assistant will help us to increase Oxfam’s sales by providing a high standard of customer service and operating the till.
What will the role involve?
• Providing polite and friendly service to the customers to increase their satisfaction and encourage them to continue supporting Oxfam
• Operating the till
• Doing daily cashing up
• Helping other volunteers to sort and price items donated to Oxfam
• Mentoring new volunteers
No previous experience is needed, so don’t be afraid to apply. If you are successful, full training will be given. So if you are keen on or would like to learn more about fashion, then this opportunity is for you.
We will need you to do at least one 4-hour shift in weekend (Saturday or Sunday) for a minimum of 2 months. Shifts are 10 am- 2 pm and 2 pm- 6 pm (Saturday) and 12 pm – 5 pm (Sunday)
